“Acolada Design – Open Doors Day” was an event organized for customers, collaborators, Acolada partners, but also for all those who want to create space, design and architecture enthusiasts, or even students at faculty profiles.
On the anniversary of our two-year anniversary, we launched the Acolada brand, the new name under which our team will continue its work from now on. A few days before, we were all trapped in the preparations, the last hundred meters, and in organizing the event in detail. This is alongside everyday activities: projects, offering and meeting with customers.
Fatigue and emotions were becoming more and more felt, though none of us complained to others. Everyone has contributed through his abilities, assuming all the issues on the agenda and managing to finish everything as we have planned. The headquarters were dressed in holiday clothes, gifts for prepared participants, sweets and snacks on the platters, and all of us in the anniversary.
Two years after the company was founded, and for a year and a half since we were in this office, after hours and months of uninterrupted work, without holidays and rest, this was the moment for the Acolada team.
We have all enjoyed for a few hours the relaxed atmosphere, and yet so excited, along with the people we have managed to get to this moment – the customers who have put their dreams in our hands, the collaborators who helped to transform their vision into reality and give life to the ideas and desires of the beneficiaries, and each of the loved ones in our lives who have supported us all along this time have encouraged us whenever we have fallen and now , enjoys with us.
We were grateful to God for guiding our steps on this challenging road, but with such a beautiful view, and it gave us strength and patience to rise after each fall and to take it over and over again once and for all, until we can surpass our expectations and our customers. It was not easy for us to work over the weekend or until midnight to get negative feedback with all the openness, knowing that just so we could correct everything that was not efficient and productive in our work.Over time, we have come to see every client as a teacher and each project as the best course in design , architecture, management and communication. That’s how I tasted the bitter moments of sadness, when it seemed that everything was against us, but also the sweetness of the finishing times, when some of the toughest teachers-clients gave us words of thanksgiving, their joy being the greatest note one can take a designer to this life exam.
Beyond the emotion of resuming our journey as a team, and remembering the most important moments of the past two years, there have also been exchanges of information or contact details of our suppliers and collaborators, interactions between current clients and veterans of completed developments, memories immortalized in group and individual photos, team members and Acolada at her home. And, perhaps the most enjoyable moment of the evening, was undoubtedly the extraction of the winners of the prizes put in play by us and the collaborating firms for the raffle of the event. On departure, each participant left with a set of promotional materials, catalogs, discounts, and hopefully with new knowledge, beautiful memories and a contagious state of well-being.
Today, however, the Acolada team returns to daily affairs, projects and customers today, still retaining the emotion of the yesterday event, the joy shared with so many people and the desire to have in the future the house full of as many occasions.
Thank you, dear people!
