An unfriendly and dark space or a real treasure full of potential? Depends on who’s watching it!

Lofts are often dark and not very friendly spaces, where the inhabitants of a house seldom climb to store things they no longer need. In this project, one can see how they can be reconverted practically in places where children can live and carry on their day-to-day work. With the creativity of a designer, anyone can give their child a place to feel comfortable, consume energy and develop their imagination, the attic being a real treasure full of potential.

The attic design project presented to us was designed for two children of school age, the only requirements being to create different places for play and relaxation, storage and rest, but also a quieter area for study. In this project we have had total freedom of creation, being even encouraged to overcome our limits and create a dynamic, versatile space where children of all ages can find their place.

By partitioning, all needs can be covered creatively and multifunctionally!

The playground is the central element of the room, consisting of a miniature house, located in a generous space for creative activities, equipped with various storage areas. The attic height allowed for a semi-level, a pleasant space with pillows and poufs, where they can invite their friends to play on the Playstation or Xbox.

The resting area is represented by the two separate beds for the privacy of the windows, through the furniture elements. The extensible sofa, integrated into the storage furniture, was designed for parents or for the little guests who stayed overnight.

The space for the study offers privacy and plenty of natural light, being located near the rest area, both of which have their own office and storage space.
