The main or matrimonial bedroom, as is known by many of us, is an oasis of quiet and relaxation that we need at the end of a demanding day. The bedroom should be the quietest and most comfortable place in our home where we can charge for the day after, whether we are resting, reading, surfing the internet or enjoying a movie.
For most of today’s homes, matrimonial bedrooms are unfortunately not as generous as they would be to get the minimum of comfort we all dream of. A spacious bedroom would require a minimum area of 20 m.p., well above the 12-15 m.p. existing in many apartments. This state of affairs makes the designer‘s experience, creativity and practical sense to make a difference in the result obtained after setting up such a room. Regardless of the existing space, with specialized help you can make a successful project, even in a small room.
Regardless of the type of dwelling, apartment or house, it is recommended that bedrooms are as far away as possible from the living area, both as a level of intimacy and to provide more peace of mind or good maintenance of cleanliness. It is also preferable that the master bedroom or the night area have a bathroom that is different from the one in the living area, where it is enough and a simple bathroom for the guests.
In terms of furniture, especially in the case of small apartments, it would be ideal that the dressing could be created either in a storage closet or even on one of the walls of the entrance hall in the matrimonial bedroom. Thus, a room ventilation would be obtained by removing the closet and the possibility of reorganizing space by repositioning the bed, choosing a toilet table, or arranging a small relaxation and reading area. As a general recommendation, the furnishing of any room, depending on its surface, is made by first choosing the main parts without which that room can not be used as intended, and then the other components of the arrangement will be decided.
The bed is certainly the most important and massive piece of furniture in a bedroom, the central element of the design, with a strong visual and aesthetic impact.
The color palette that will decorate your bedroom should be carefully chosen, including their psychological effect, not just personal preferences for a particular color. Bedroom is a room to be painted in warm and restful colors, neutral shades being the most recommended.
