A land of balanced shape and size, a family with four members and a comfortable home, with generous common spaces, designed for relaxing and spending time with friends.
The realized project becomes a functional and aesthetic transposition of the real wishes and needs of the beneficiaries, in a contemporary architectural interpretation of the classical style. The house was designed on two levels, with access from the staircase house to the common terrace above the garage and with opening from the living area to the garden behind the house.
The access to the house, centrally located, is protected and signaled on the main facade by a classic volumetry with decorative elements of modern inspiration, located in an imperfect symmetry, in the reinterpretation of the traditional style. For added comfort, especially in the cold season and additional storage space, the main volume was attached to a closed garage, which also assumes the role of secondary entrance to the house.
In any family with children, housing needs generate a housing division in two main areas of interest, independent as practical utility and arranged on different floors, for added peace and privacy.
through the main entrance or through the secondary one from the garage, to the living areas for food preparation, table service or relaxing in the living room, on the TV or in front of the fireplace. The main circulation of the users is restricted in the central area, by placing the access staircase to the upstairs bedrooms, so that all the functions remain unified, without having to cross them unnecessarily.
The interior partitioning is the result of the real analysis of the daily activities of the beneficiaries, including both generous technical and storage spaces, for food, clothing and linen, bathrooms, laundry, central room and garage with storage for equipment and tools, as well as rooms intended either for spending time together with family and friends, or for rest or individual study. The dining room and the living room have become the most privileged space of the house, both through the generous surface allocated and by the possibility of extending it, in the hot season, to the garden, the generous terrace with direct access being specially designed for this purpose.
The architecture designed for the benefit of the users can only be conceived from the function to the exterior form of the construction, with the role of harmoniously dressing the interior partitioning in architectural elements and decorative details, through which the whole ensemble becomes a combination of the architect’s personality with the uniqueness of the beneficiaries.
For the ideal framing in any urban context, the proposed building will be easily harmonized with the neighborhoods of the property through the neutral white-beige-gray color scheme, realized in a volumetric game by combining two facade materials, respectively decorative plaster and apparent brick plating. , and two methods of finishing the walls, simple plastering and woodwork.
