For my eyes or for your eyes, maybe no fitting is perfect. Designers and architects publish various pictures of the spaces they are arranging, writing their story, but neither do I know the story of the beneficiary of that space and the unseen story behind the written story.
We, as outsiders, look and say, “Oh, but that lamp does not fit there!”, “I don’t like the combination of colors, I would have done it differently!”, “Well, tasteless! “etc. Are not we subjective? And maybe even a little grumpy …
Would we be more impressed if we knew some details, that the budget was very small and everything was calculated at the last penny? Or that the whole arrangement was made in an almost impossible time? Or that the result was determined by the wishes of all the members of that family, who all wanted to feel at home in their own space?
No house is the same, nor the people who live in it. Each of us is unique and it is so wonderful. It just means that our desires, needs and priorities will be different. And, by default, the most suitable home for each of us will be different and unique.
We, as architects and designers, do not seek to create spaces simply, but dwellings in which each of you will feel HOME . We do not want to be criticized by anyone, nor praise bu someone who does not know the story behind the story. We really enjoy when we see on Facebook dozens of comments from the owner’s friends: “This house represents you!”, “It looks great fine! Call us at a new home party! “,” Congratulations! You finally sat at your home! ”
For us, “perfect fitting” is the perfect fit for its beneficiaries, not for the whole world. In conclusion, “perfect fitting” means discovering what “perfect” means for each client, functionally, aesthetically and financially.
And, do not forget, dear readers of our blog, the perfect for one can be the imperfect of someone else and vice versa! 🙂
